Robert Ackerman

Dr. Robert J. Ackerman is an internationally recognized recovery expert working with families and children. A Professor of Sociology and Director of the Mid-Atlantic Addiction Training Institute at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Ackerman is best known for writing the first book published in the United States on children of alcoholics in 1978.
