Emma Tom

Emma Tom has a regular column in the Australian newspaper every Saturday, writing about everything from strippers and jelly wrestlers to the Government′s drug reform. Her first novel, Deadset, won the Commonwealth Writers Prize for the Best First Book in 1997. Her collection of Herald newspaper columns, Babewatch, was published by Headline in 1999. Evidence is her second novel. She lives in Petersham, Sydney.
