I think girls should take advice from this book and stop staring at fashion magazines wishing to be a “beautiful” that is fake and impossible. As Aza learns, beauty can be found in someone's heart, not just in their appearance. The Queen Ivi had a beautiful appearance which betrayed her true nature, unlike Aza's dazzling voice which stayed true to who she was. I love how this story feels fresh and new, but it still incorporates a poisoned apple and a talking mirror, both from Snow White, into the story. Gail Carson Levine has woven the fabrics of yet another enchanting story that will captivate its readers.

A great read. You are pulled into Aza's life and keep turning the pages to find out more. Will the prince notice her will the Queen throw her in the dungeon? You will only find the answers to these by reading, but trust me you find out a whole lot of other things in your reading. It will keep you turning the pages till the end.

I must admit I was a little worried when I received this book. I loved Ella Enchanted so much that it was hard for me to believe anything could even touch its beauty. I was wrong. Fairest is a wondrous new book from Levine. I fell in love with Aza and wanted to know more and more about her as the book went on. The characters are very well written. I loved seeing glimpses of characters from Ella Enchanted as well (Areida is Aza's adoptive sister). A magnificent book! A MUST READ!

One word: Wow. This book is fabulous! It's funny, romantic, adventurous--something for everyone! Fans of Ella Enchanted will especially love this book, set in the neighboring kingdom to Ella's. It might technically be a children's book, but people of all ages will love it!

I loved Ella Enchanted, but Fairest is really amazing! I think it tells a great story and I could totally relate to it. I really liked how Aza's boyfriend accepted her for who she was. Looks aren't everything and beauty has its price. Gail Carson Levine does a really good job at getting these messages across in a super cool way.
The plot of Fairest is really interesting and kept me turning the pages as fast as I could. Every teenage girl should read this book- high school would be a much better place if they took it to heart too.
