Jorge Cruise' approach to dieting and eating in general is a nice change from the low carb obsessed lifestyle. His book provides strong research that supports his views and plans for a healthy and long-term diet. The journal included in the book is an excellent tool for dieters. The 3 Hour Diet will be here to stay.

This book is much more than a diet guide. It addresses resetting your metabolism. We all know that as we age our metabolism begins to slow down and work against us. By eating on a 3-hour schedule, you can reset your metabolism to work for you. In addition to losing weight, I feel better than I have in a long time--acid reflux is diminishing [and] I have more energy. At last I found a nice, gentle diet I can live with.

What an amazing diet! I've already lost 5 pounds! I was tired of the crop of low-carb diets, when it's not really possible for me to do low-carb due to some health concerns. Jorge Cruise's diet plan does not involve low-carbing or calorie-counting. This is an easier and more enjoyable diet because some diets have left me feeling desperate for food right before bedtime. But Cruise's diet leaves me satisfied and minus 5 pounds so far!

This book is very insightful and encouraging in its approach to helping people take off pounds and live a healthier lifestyle. Carbohydrates are not a dirty word in the author's diet regimen -- in fact, he advocates the consumption of healthful carbohydrates -- fruits, vegetables especially, beans, and whole grains. I highly recommend this hopeful and insightful book.
