Backlist Product Manager
Do you want a product role that provides you with opportunity to learn more about publishing? Do you want a position where you can influence inventory decisions to better reflect the sales of the business?

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented person to manage backlist title purchasing by working closely with people across the business. The role will require someone with aptitude for numbers and an interest in the publishing decisions that affect inventory management.

Experience in book publishing is essential. The successful candidate will require a can do attitude, the ability to work efficiently, solid communication skills and an interest in business decisions in a publishing environment. Effective time management, attention to detail and the ability to anticipate issues will greatly assist in performing this role.

This is an integral role within the business and will provide the right candidate with excellent experience in the decisions that drive publishing inventory management. It would suit candidates that have experience in sales, marketing or product administration.

National Account Manager - Children's
Play a vital role in increasing our children’s sales across all segments of the market in this National Account Manager position.

As one of Australia’s leading publishers and distributors of quality children’s books you’ll be selling books from authors as diverse as Jackie French, Bruce Whatley, James Moloney, Alexandra Adornetto and Duncan Ball, through to Darren Shan, C.S Lewis and Dr Seuss, as well as all the titles from the incredible Little Hare and Usborne imprints.Your priority will be to drive forward this important area of our business by working closely with your colleagues in publishing, marketing and publicity.

We’re looking for someone who wants to make a difference and help generate sales growth. To achieve this you will use your extensive industry knowledge of children’s books, retailer awareness and advanced sales and leadership skills. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate proven business acumen and outstanding sales achievements.
