Getting Published

HarperCollinsPublishers Australia accepts selected unsolicited manuscripts every Wednesday through our online submissions portal. Visit The Wednesday Post for more details. We accept no responsibility for unsolicited submissions sent in via mail and these will not be returned to sender.

If you are an aspiring author you may also be interested in visiting The Australian Society of Authors website: www.asauthors.org. The ASA provides hints and advice for new writers on a range of subjects, from getting published to how much you can expect to pay literary agents.

While HarperCollinsPublishers is unable to provide editorial assessment or comment on manuscripts, there are a number of commercial manuscript assessment services available that may be able to help. Contact your local writers' centre or the assessment agency of your choice directly for further information.
